I have a strange field theme going on in Sketchbook365 Challenges! Last month it was the rice fields of Ubud and now it's just an ordinary field :) But I had to take a picture of this field as we where walking by it on Sunday. This scene is Finnish summer at it's best. The picture was my inspiration for the whole page: the title was obvious to me, but I used the picture as an inspiration when I created the background. Do you know that summery view where you are standing next to the field and there is a small wind blowing making the field "dance" quietly? I immediately thought about watercolors and created the background to the page with gelatos. I tried to create a very subttle and delicate background. I even toned down the embellishments to give space to the picture and atmosphere.
I remembered that I have Pink Paislee's golden rub-ons which would work perfectly in this page. I didn't have any gold paper, so I embossed the title with gold. The first embossing wasn't perfect so I did it twice.
Thanks for visiting!
