Pinkfresh Studio A Case of the Blahs Blog Hop

It's time for another Pinkfresh Studio Blog Hop! This blog hope and the "A Case Of The Blahs" collection is all about keeping it real! Life isn't always sunshine and rainbows and this collection is designed to help you document that side of life too.

The inspiration for this layout came from the frames. Those are perfect for creating a grid layout. For the colors I picked the combination of grey and peach (two of my favorite colors!) which go so well together!

Once again I used a mix of embellishments from puffy stickers to die-cuts and stickers.

Now it's your turn to continue hopping!

Pinkfresh Studio Let Your Heart Decide Blog Hop

Welcome to the last stop of Pinkfresh Studio Let Your Heart Decide Blog Hop! I hope you have had fun!

This new Let Your Heart Decide collection is right up to my alley! The colors are so fresh and pretty, just perfect to my taste! In this layout I just wanted play with all the pretty colors this collection has and that striped paper was perfect for that. To balance all the colors I wanted to keep a good amount of white space in the layout too.

Once again I used a mix of embellishments. Those epoxy heart stickers are just perfect for any project!

Pinkfresh Studio Playing Favorites Blog Hop

Welcome to another Pinkfresh Studio Blog Hop! This blog hop is all about our Pinkfresh Studio favorites and my favorite for the year was the Escape the Ordinary collection.

This collection is my favorite for several reasons. I love the bold and modern graphics this collection has. I also really enjoyed the colors, even though the colors are not something that I have used to use a lot so it was a fresh new color palette for me.

And as we are talking about favorites, the traveler's notebook spread wouldn't be complete without a picture of our dog Viola, who is with her brother in this picture.

Now it's your turn! Keep hopping through the blog hop and keep commenting as you go. Comments will close at 11.59pm CST on Friday January 5th 2018. The winners will be randomly selected and the requirement is that they have to leave a comment on each Blog in the Hop.

Pinkfresh Studio December Days Blog Hop

Welcome to Pinkfresh Studio December Days Blog Hop! I hop you have enjoyed the hop so far!

I wanted to create a traveler's notebook spread that uses a lot of beautiful embellishments from the December Days collection. I just loved the variety of embellishments in this collection, from stickers to die-cuts and puffy stickers.

I kept the background very subtle by using a strip of grey pattern paper. The subtle background made it possible for me to use variety of colors and shapes when embellishing the spread. For the design part I wanted to create a bit movement to the layout so I placed the embellishment on a diagonal line to guide the eye to look at the picture.

Now it's your turn! Here are all the blogs that are part of the blog hop. Remember to visit each of them and leave a comment!

Pinkfresh Studio Boys Fort Blog Hop

Welcome to Pinkfresh Studio Boys Fort Blog Hop! With this Blog Hop Pinkfresh Studio DT is showcasing Pinkfresh's first masculine collection.

For this blog hop I wanted to create a spread on my traveler's notebook showcasing two beautiful pattern papers that highlight the color grey. I felt that these papers complimented my picture with graffitis really well!

As the patterns were so bold I wanted to use only few selected embellishments. Once again I grabbed the die-cut pack but addition to that I wanted to use a fabric pendant, I really like these new fabric products Pinkfresh has!

Two lucky winners will win an entire Boys Fort collection! Just keep hopping and comment on every blog on the way. Comments will close at 11.59pm CST on Friday Sept 8th 2017.

For this blog hop I wanted to create a traveler's notebook spread using products from Escape The Ordinary collection. This collection is so beautiful and versatile, another winner from Pinkfresh Studio!

For this spread I used mainly embellishments. I love all the different embellishments that are included in this collection. I used my all time favorite - puffy stickers, die-cuts, stitched hearts, phrase stickers and fabric die-cuts. By using different type of embellishments I was able to create different textures to the spread without adding bulk.

One of the my favorite things in this collection is the variety of different shapes. There are triangles, leaves, stars and flowers to mentioned a few. This collection is truly versatile and can be used very well for all kind of projects!

Now it's your turn to continue hopping! Make sure you leave a comment to every blog in this hop. The winner will be announced on Friday August 25th 2017 in Pinkfresh Studio Blog.

Subway Tile - A traveler's notebook spread

Here's my June project for Pinkfresh Studio! I created a traveler's notebook spread with Felicity and Life Noted collections. These collections go so well together! I kept the color palette light by keeping the main color white. The little pops of color create nice interest to the spread.

For this spread I placed the title and journaling vertically. This brings a nice detail and variation to the spread. I also added phrase stickers below the picture as additional journaling.

Real Story - a traveler's notebook spread

Here is another spread from my traveler’s notebook. I have made my own traveler’s notebook inserts and I use one of these notebooks for memory keeping. This notebook is currently one of my favorite ways to document memories: simple, easy and quick! For this spread I have used Pinkfresh Studio products.

This is a typical spread from my notebook. The photo and journaling are the most important things there and the embellishments and papers support them. I loved using the washi tape strips as they bring some additional journaling to the spread.

Minibook: Ongoing Story

Here is a minibook I made with Pinkfresh Studio's Felicity and Life Noted collections. Both of these collections have a unique look but still they go together so well!

For this minibook I used the 3x4 cards from Life Noted as my base. I added pages to the mini book also by cutting cards from the Life Noted 6x6 paper pad. This mini book is photo heavy so I kept the embellishments to a minimum.

To see the inside pages check out this quick video where I flip through the mini book.

Two cards with Life Noted collection

Here are two cards that I created with Pinkfresh Studio's Life Noted collection. I used the 6x6 paper pad and wooden embellishments. For the other card I used a color combo of yellow and black. The text “awesome” was cut out from one of the papers and it has such a cool and big effect on the look of the card.

For the other card I wanted to use a lot of paperstrips in the colors of yellow, grey and green. As the paper strips make a bold background I only used one wooden square as my embellishment.
