Daydream - A layout and a sketch for Scrapidées

This week I'm a guest at Scrapidées blog! Scrapidées is a popular French blog that shares layouts together with a sketch every week. I was honored to be asked to create a sketch and a layout for them! This is actually the first sketch that I made myself and I had fun making it! Pinkfresh Studio: Happy little moments

Here is the fourth and final layout that I created for Pinkfresh Studio as GDT. The inspiration for this layout came when I used that lovely branch die that was included in the March embellishment kit. I wanted to use the small pieces from the cut too as those reminded me of cherry blossoms that we saw in New York.

I love how this layout turned out! Those vellum tags were perfect for layering and that branch die is so pretty!

Pinkfresh Studio: Hello Lovely + video

Sometimes inspiration just hits! That was the case with the square sequins that were included in the Pinkfresh Studio's March embellishment kit. That sequin banner was the starting point to this layout.

My style is clean and simple and I don't use mixed media products that much. When I told my scrappy friends that I made a layout using gel medium they almost didn't believe it. Gladly I have proof: a "making of" video!

Pinkfresh Studio: Welcome spring

Here is another layout that I created for Pinkfresh Studio. All the embellishments in this layout came from their March embellishment kit. I was so inspired by the stamps (eventhough I rarely do any stamping) and those lime green vellum letters. I wanted to create a layout about the spring that is almost here!

 Maybe I need to use stamps more often? :)
