Create something beautiful

Today I want to just pop in quickly and share a layout I made with Scrapbook Werkstatt's November kit. This layout is about this lovely hobby and how I love creating pretty stuff!

Hello - a layout for Paper Camellia's November reveal

It's November already, how did this happen? As it's the first day of the month it means that I can share my first layout with Paper Camellia's November kit. The kits are so pretty every month, make sure you get your own from Paper Camellia's shop! You can see the full reveal from here.

I must say that I love those cute arrows from Pink Paislee! And that fox puffer sticker is adorable!

Love you - a special layout

Here is another layout I made with Scrapbook Werkstatt's November kit. I have had this picture on my desk for months but couldn't find the courage to scrap it. The paper from Pebbles with little squares with lovely sentiments was the perfect combination with this picture.

That's me and my mom in the picture on a new year's eve in late 80's. The bottom row says it all: Thinking of you, love you and thank you.

Smile big - a layout with Scrapbook Werkstatt's November kit

Today is the reveal day of Scrapbook Werkstatt's November kit. It's perfect for documenting all the autumn memories but the kit has a lot of other pretty stuff as well. See the kit from here and get your own!

For this layout I wanted to use the tags I cut out from Pink Paislee's pattern paper together with washi tape strips. Such a simple and quick way to make a layout!

No 1 - what to do with a pack of cork numbers?

Can I be honest? At first I didn't have a clue what to do with those cork numbers! But then it hit me: if you can't hide it, embrace it. So there is almost a whole pack of cork numbers in this layout!

I actually really like the outcome. The numbers give a nice texture and contrast to this layout. Also I think it's so cool that you can make totally different kind of layouts from the same collection. This layout is a bit more masculine. Something totally different than this layout (link).

Materials:
Crate Paper - Wonder - Die Cut Cork Numbers
Crate Paper - Wonder - Bright
Crate Paper - Wonder - Specialty Paper { Gold Glitter Stripe }
Crate Paper - Wonder - Splendid
Crate Paper - Wonder - Ephemera
Crate Paper - Wonder - Gold Foil Chipboard

Details - layout with Crate Paper Wonder collection

Sometimes a layout just comes together by itself. I wanted to fuzzy cut some flowers from the Wild Spirit patterned paper. When I was done with the cutting I noticed that the flowers were in a nice line on my table. I instantly knew how I would design the layout and I just moved the flowers from my table to the cardstock and adhered everything.

I love the delicate feel this layout has! And those thickers are gorgeous!

On my desk lately...

If you saw the announcement that I'm now designing for Scrapbook Werkstatt you probably guessed that I'm already working with some projects for them.

My first assignment was to work with the August monthly kit that will be available for purchase on 26th of July (here is a link to the page where you can find the kit on that day). The kit is gorgeous! Here are some sneak peeks of the layouts I did with the kit!

Like the last picture said it was fun working with the kit!

Paper Camellia July reveal

I can't believe it's July already! I have still few work days left and soon my summer holiday starts. I can't wait!

Paper Camellia's July reveal is now live. Once again the kits are gorgeous and I love the travel theme! Check the full reveal from here.

Here is a layout I prepared for the reveal:

The colors in this layout are a bit unusual to me but I really like the outcome!

Paper Camellia: Lovely life

If I’m being totally honest I had hard time with this layout. The basic components (papers, title and photo) were easy to put together but adding the embellishments was tricky! The papers and title I chose were so monocromatic that I didn’t know right away what embellishments to add. And then the ”Here’s the story” paper from Chickaniddy Crafts came to rescue! Adding the paper strips with short sentiments just brought the whole layout together!

Season of flowers

Happy Sunday! Today I want to share you a layout I created for Cat File Store using their printables and cut files. I just loved the row of hearts cut file combined with the "season of flowers" printable!

Have you noticed that Cat File Store / Family Portraits has started to make physical products too? How cool!

As you have probably noticed, I have loved using Elle's Studio's Cienna collection. The colors are just perfect for spring and summer!

In The Scrap: May challenge

I'm excited to tell you that I have joined In The Scrap Design Team! In The Scrap is a challenge and scrapbooking blog full of inspiration.

At the beginning of May a new monthly challenge started at their blog.

Here is the inspiration picture/moodboard:

That bike sticker from Crate Paper was the perfect embellishment to this layout!

The story of a new sofa

Yesterday was a reveal day at Paper Camellia. May kits are full of color and lovely products, so make sure you check out the full reveal from Paper Camellia's blog!

Here is my layout for the reveal I wanted to use Elle's Studio's products that were on the main kit.

That's our living room in the picture. When we first moved together with my hubby (we were 20 years old at the time) we bought the cheapest sofa that we found (and liked). We had that sofa for 8 years. Finally in January we bought a new sofa and did a small makeover to our living room. The room has so much more light now and the new sofa is so comfy!
