Shine - a scraplifted layout

Do you know the feature in Facebook where it reminds you about posts you have done a year ago?About a year ago I had one of my layouts chosen as layout of the week at Studio Calico's website and I posted that on my Facebook page. Few weeks ago FB kindly reminded me about this and I realized that maybe I could scraplift my own design!

Those bows are so cute!

Exciting news!

Finally I can share the exciting news I've been keeping for some time now: I'll be joining Pinkfresh Studio Design team for the year 2016! I can't wait to work with their amazing products and all of these lovely ladies!

Moments - a layout with stamping

Here is another layout I created with Maggie Holmes' Shine collection. I love the pink and turquoise papers and combined them with a b&w picture.

If you look closely you can see that there's something in this layout that you don't often see on my pages: stamping! The roller phrase stamp that is part of the collection was so cute that I just had to try it! The stamping is far from perfect but I think it's a nice touch on the layout. I must do this more often!

On my desk - a layout with Maggie Holmes' Shine collection

I have had layouts piling on my desk for some time now. It's so grey and dark in Finland right now so it's hard to take good pictures. Finally I was able to take the pictures and this week I will share three layouts with you that I made with Maggie Holmes' Shine collection that I got from Scrapbook Werkstatt.

This is the first layout. I was really inspired by the paper with the rulers! Perfect paper to use in a work/school related layout!

Smile - a layout with flowers and paper strips

Yesterday was my turn to blog at Paper Camellia's blog. This layout was done with Paper Camellia's November main scrapbook kit. This layout is all about flowers and paper strips!

I sort of cheated a bit with this layout. I didn’t want to measure and cut the paper strips on a right angle as at least for me it would have taken too much time. My solution was that I cut just cut regular paper strips of the papers and placed them in an angle to the white cardstock. Then I trimmed the cardstock slightly to even the edges. So the layout isn’t a true 12x12, but slightly smaller. I don’t mind that the layout is a bit smaller but if this is something that bothers you, you can either mat the whole layout to another pattern paper or cardstock (or not cheat and cut the paper in angle from the start).

Work it - a layout of pull-ups

Here is my last layout that I made with Scrapbook Werkstatt's November kit.

I took this picture of my husband this summer when we were in Cyprus. We were walking along the seaside and enjoying the sunset. On the way there was this place where you can exercise and he just needed to go there and do some pull-ups. I just love how this picture turned out!

Love this - a layout with Paper Camellia's November sketch

Here is a layout I made with Paper Camellia's November’s main scrapbook kit and November sketch. The sketch this month is stunning and making a layout with it was so easy!

You can see Paper Camellia's sketch challenge from here!

I followed the sketch pretty closely this time. I really liked the basic design with the paper cut in half. As my main embellishment I used flowers that I cut out from one of the Pink Paislee’s pattern papers.

This layout is about a comfort food (which in this case means mac ‘n’ cheese). I don’t know if it’s this season or what but I’ve been craving for some comfort food this fall!

Autumn - another layout with Scrapbook Werkstatt's November kit

This autumn has been so beautiful here in Finland. We have had a lot of beautiful fall days with sunshine. We have spent so many weekends walking in the neighborhood and viewing how the nature has changed its colors.

I wanted to document all this to a layout I made with Scrapbook Werkstatt's November kit.

Eat pizza - a layout with process video

Yesterday was my turn to share a tutorial over at "In The Scrap" blog. I made a fun and colorful layout using a grid design.

And what could be better topic to a layout than pizza! I'm not a big fan of sweet desserts and treats but I like yummy savory foods, just like pizza!
