CSI: Summer getaway

CSI:ssä oli tällä viikolla todella kesäiset väri. Tällä kertaa jatkoin kokeilujani gelatosien kanssa. Ensin väritin sivun useammalla värillä ja käytin paljon vettä värien tasoittamiseen. Sitten käytin gessoa hieman "vaimentamaan" voimakkaita värejä. Halusin myös kokeilla "texture pastea" (mikä se sitten onkaan suomeksi) ja tein sillä kuvion. Lisäsin vielä hieman pinkkiä maskin läpi.

CSI had some fun summer colors this week. I have been experimenting with my gelatos, this time I combined it with gesso. First I colored the page with gelatos and used a lot of water to blend it. Then I muted the colors with gesso using a sponge. I also wanted to try texture paste for the first time and I created a pattern with it. Then I added some pink ink through stencil.

Mielestäni tausta onnistui niin hienosti, että en halunnut peittää sitä. Niinpä kerrostin vain muutaman paperin kuvien alle ja lisäsin pari koristetta.Sivu on perheeni kesäpaikasta. Se on paras paikka viettää kesää. Tarinointi on kuvan alla ja se kertoo paikasta ja siitä, kuin siellä voi nauttia kesästä unohtaen arjen.

I loved the background so much that I didn't want to cover it. I just layered few papers under the photos and added some embellishments.The page is about my family's summer place. It is the best place to spend time during the summer. The journaling is under the photo. It says that this is the best place to spend summer and when you are there you can just forget work and just relax. Perfect summer getaway :)
