Blog Hop with Scrapbook Werkstatt's Design Team

May 1, 2016

Welcome to Scrapbook Werkstatt's May Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Steffi's blog and go ahead to Diana's blog next! In this blog hop Scrapbook Werkstatt's design team has created wonderful projects inspired by the mood board Kathleen has put together. I was so inspired by the mood board: the colors, textures, gold and flowers are just perfect for spring!

There's a great prize for you too: All participants can win a 20 Euro voucher for the Scrapbook Werkstatt! Leave a comment until the 8th of May 2016 at every blog post of the blog hop. Just keep hopping and commenting!

Here's the layout I created. This was a perfect opportunity to use the Bloom collection from Maggie Holmes. I went a bit crazy with the flowers!

I wanted to add white space to the layout to bring balance to the layout. I placed al the elements to the left side of the layout and kept the rest really simple.

Remember to leave a comment to each blog post of the hop to maximize your possibilities to win! Now, head over to Diana's blog to continue the blog hop!

Hello from the kitchen - a layout with SBW May kit

April 29, 2016

Here's another layout I created with Scrapbook Werkstatt's May kit. I think this layout is one of my favorites for a long time for two reasons. One, the photo is taken at our new house and we are at the place where the kitchen will be. I think the expressions on our faces tell it all, we are so happy. Second, this layout came together so easily and I think it looks different compared to the layouts I have done lately. I really love the look of this layout, happy and bright!

It's time to break the blog silence! It's been a busy month! I have had a big project at work which has taken a lot of time. All my free time has been taken up by our huge project at home. It has been fun thouhg! Picking tiles, paint colors, floor materials... A lot of decisions!

Anyway, here's a layout I created with Scrapbook Werkstatt's May kit. The kit is so pretty, full of beautiful products! In the picture I'm at the construction site enjoying the first sunrays of spring!
