Memory keeping in Traveler's notebook

When it comes to crafting, lately I have tried different things. I have been making off-the-page projects and even planner spreads. I have struggled with Project Life but still wanted to do some simple memory keeping. I think I have found my way to do just that!

I made this traveler's notebook insert with the idea in mind to use it as a simple memory keeping journal. This is my way to combine the fun of scrapbooking with the simplicity of the Project Life approach. And I love the outcome! Here's my first spread:
