Onnistumisen kokemuksia

Kuten aiemmin mainitsin, olen viime aikoina kokeillut uusia tekniikoita. Laitoin ScrapFriendsin luonnoshaasteessa uudet tekniikat kokeiluun ja sain mukavan onnistumisen kokemuksen! :)

Lately I have tried new techniques, like sewing, masking and misting. In the ScrapFriends's sketch challenge I tried all these and I really like the outcome! :)

Käänsin luonnoksen toisin päin, jotta se sopi kuvaan paremmin. Tein ensin maskin avulla luonnoksen mukaisen muodon gessolla ja Mister Huey's Buttercup -mistillä. Lisäksi leimasin mustia ympyröitä tuomaan lisää tekstuuria. Sitten lisäsin muutamia valkoisia roiskeita. Sitten ompelin paperit paikalleen ja kerrostin kuvan alle muutaman paperin. Lopuksi muutama leima ja otsikko sekä lehtiä/oksia jatkamaan kuvassa ollutta puuta.

I turned the sketch around so it would suit the photo better. First I made the shape that is in the sketch with gesso and Mister Huey's Buttercup mist using the stencil I have made myself. I stamped black circles to add more texture to the backround. Then I added few white paint splashes. I sewed the papers in place and layered few papers under the photo. In the end I added few more stamps and the title ("Life together ahead") + added the leafs to the top of the photo to continue the tree.
