Sunset - layout with Paper Camellia's September sketch

Do you know that Paper Camellia has a sketch challenge every month? I really loved the sketch this month and making a layout with it was so easy! Check out the sketch here.

I love how the gold and wood patterns go so well together! It really complements my photo.

As the patterns are quite bold I kept the embellishments to the minimum.

Materials: Paper Camellia's September Main Scrapbook kit (Crate Paper, Fancy Pants Designs, American Crafts)

Oh so lovely - it's the simple things that make all the difference!

This layout is a good proof of the fact that it's the simple things that make all the difference! Even though the basic design is similar to my other layouts, placing the picture on an angle makes it look completely different.

This layout is made with Crate Paper's Wonder collection that I got from Scrapbook Werkstatt. I love how all the layouts I have made with this collection have their own look. There are some bold patterns in the collection but with the B side designs you can make more delicate layouts too.

Materials:
Crate Paper - Wonder - Specialty Paper { Vellum With Gold Foil Triangles }

Keep cool - "In The Scrap" September challenge

New monthly challenge is now open at "In the Scrap". This time it's about inks! Check out the reveal here.

I use mist splatters in almost all of my layouts. It's typically the last thing I do, the final touch. As the challenge was to use inks, I changed my process a bit and started with adding a lot of mist splatters to my cardstock. It was fun to change things around!

I really like how this layout is full of summer! I still have a lot of summer photos waiting to be scrapped.
