CSI: Smile

Ihanaa lauantaita! Tällä kertaa minulla on näytettävänä teille sivu uusimpaan CSI-haasteeseen, jonka värit ja tunnelma ovat hyvin kesäisiä. Pink Paisleen Color Wash -paperit sopivat täydellisesti käytettäväksi tähän haasteeseen.

Happy Saturday! This time I have a new layout to show you that I made for CSI. The case file has a nice summer feel to it and the Color Wash papers from Pink Paislee were perfect for this challenge!

Tämä sivu kertoo ystävästäni, joka on aina innostunut kuulemaan askarteluharrastuksestani. Yhtenä iltana hän tuli käymään mukanaan muutama valokuva ja teimmekin niistä yhdessä hänelle skräppisivun. Meillä oli niin hauskaa yhdessä! On niin ihanaa, että minulla on ystävä, joka tukee ja kannustaa! <3

This layout tells about my dear friend that is always willing to hear about my scrapbooking. One night she came over to my place with few photos and we scrapped a layout together. It was so much fun! I just loved that I have a friend like her that supports and encourages me in my hobby <3

Mitä sitten tulee tähän sivuun, tässä on nähtävillä taas yksi kokeiluni vesivärien kanssa. Olen viime aikoina kokeillut tehdä taustaan vesivärikuvioita (eli ensin gessoa alle ja sitten vesiväriä päälle). Jotenkin en koskaan ole tyytyväinen lopputulokseen. Pelastukseksi näihin kokeiluihin onkin löytynyt leivinpaperi: sen läpi vesiväritausta kuultaa hieman, mutta se ei näy liikaa :)

This layout is also one of my experiments with watercolors. Lately I've been trying to learn how to make cool watercolor patterns to the background. And I never like the outcome. As a rescue I have put a piece of baking paper to cover the experiments. It's very handy as the baking paper is a bit sheer but covers a bit so that watercolor experiments aren't too visible :)

Grow old together

Helmikuussa skräppäyshaasteet ovat olleet tulvillaan hempeitä värejä ja rakkausteemaa ystävänpäivän johdosta. Tämä olikin täydellinen kuukausi skräpätä tämä hääkuva, joka on odotellut vuoroaan pöydälläni. Tähän sivuun sain inspiraation The Memory Nestin haasteesta, jossa oli aivan ihanat värit! Haasteeseen kuului käyttää myös yhtä kuvassa ollutta fraasia otsikkona.

On February all the scrapbooking challenges have been full of inspiration, pretty colors and love theme. This was perfect month to take part to these challenges and scrap one of our wedding pictures that has been laying on my desk waiting to be scrapped. For this layout I took my inspiration from the Memory Nest's Make it Monday challenge. I just loved the colors and phrases that were part of the challenge!

CSI: Other side of me

Mukavaa lauantaita! Tässä viimeisin sivuni CSI-haasteeseen, jossa oli tällä kertaa hyvin neutraaleja sävyjä.  Lisäksi mukana oli luonnos, kuten aina kuukauden toisessa haasteessa.

Happy Saturday! Here is my latest layout for the CSI challenge. This time the case file had very neutral colors. As this was the second case file of the month there was also a sketch included.

Sivu kertoo toisesta puolestani, joka ei täällä blogissa näy. Päivisin olen töissä ja siellä aina välillä pitää olla hieman "virallisempi" ja pukeutua sen mukaisesti. Tähän aiheeseen haasteen värit sopivat täydellisesti ja luonnos innosti käyttämään useampaa kuvaa!

This layout tells about me and specially the other side of me which isn't visible here on my blog. In my work sometimes I need to be more "official" and dreass accordingly. The colors of this case file were perfect for this topic and the sketch inspired me to use multiple pictures!
