Graduation

Have I told you that I've been studying for my master's degree for the last 3 years? It was quite a process to go through while working full-time during the period. Anyway, I graduated just before Christmas and this layout is about the perfect graduation gift I got!

Scrapbook Werkstatt's February kit is now available! It's perfect for Valentine's day but the kit is really versatile so you can create almost anything with it!

Here's my first layout with the kit. I loved one of the pattern papers from Crate Paper and decided to fuzzy cut some hearts out of it. As the pattern is quite bold I kept the rest of the layout really simple.

Here's another layout I created with Basic Grey's Sunkissed collection. It's about a yummy mocktail I had on our latest trip. Those pineapple embellishments were so cute and perfect for this layout!

Beautiful Chaos - a layout with paper strips

I created this simple layout with Basic Grey's Sunkissed collection that I got from Scrapbook Werkstatt. This collection is full of beautiful patterns! I loved the yellows and reds and wanted to feature them on this layout.

This layout was super easy to make! I cut some paper strips and adhered them in a cluster in the middle of my white cardstock. As the patterns were so bold I only used couple of embellishments to highlight the picture.

Last summer I snapped a picture of our godson wearing super cute red boots. We were at our summer house and he was picking berries. He was just looking adorable!

Notebook or minibook?

I don't do project life but I sure love 3x4 journaling cards! This time I made this little book from the cards that are part of Fancy Pants Designs' Happy Place Collection. I started it as a mini notebook and I added empty white cards to the mix but now I have started to think that maybe I should transfer this to a minibook as I think it's pretty cute! What do you think?

Happiness sure looks gorgeous on you

Here's another layout I created with Fancy Pants Desings' Happy Place collection that I got from Scrapbook Werkstatt. Those feathers and origami birds were so cute that I wanted to have them as my main embellishments. That journaling card with the text "happiness sure looks gorgeous on you" was the perfect title for this layout!

Where dreamers become doers - A layout with Pinkfresh Studio + process video

I had my first layout up on Pinkfresh Studio blog at the beginning of January. Check out the post on their blog as there's a challenge too where you can win a goody bag full of their products!

I created this layout using the new Felicity collection that was revealed just before Christmas. I was really inspired by the tile pattern on one of the pattern papers. I decided to cut it out and use it together with white card stock. You can see my process on the video below.

I used a variety of embellishments on this layout: die-cuts, word stickers, puffy stickers and my favorite: sequin studio puffs! Those little puffy sequins are so cute!

One of those days - a layout for Scrapbook Werkstatt

Right now I'm just happy to be inside as it's freezing here in Finland! It's around -20 Celsius, way too cold for me!

I love how this layout turned out! It's a really basic grid layout but I just love the color yellow here!

Home - a minibook with Happy Place collection

Happy New Year! I've been enjoying the long weekend and scrapped a lot! Here's a minibook I made with Happy Place collection (Fancy Pants Design) that I got from Scrapbook Werkstatt. I love the bright and happy colors of that collection!

In a previous blog post I have mentioned that we have a busy 6 months coming and soon we will be moving out from our current home. That's a great opportunity to document this home of ours to a minibook!
