Love you - a special layout

Here is another layout I made with Scrapbook Werkstatt's November kit. I have had this picture on my desk for months but couldn't find the courage to scrap it. The paper from Pebbles with little squares with lovely sentiments was the perfect combination with this picture.

That's me and my mom in the picture on a new year's eve in late 80's. The bottom row says it all: Thinking of you, love you and thank you.

DIY - a layout about DIY camera strap

Today I want to show you my last layout with Paper Camellia's October kits. In this layout I wanted to use a bit lighter colors.

This layout is put together mainly using just embellishments. The stickers and chipboards from the embellishment add-on kit were perfect and helped to pull this layout together in less than 15 minutes.

The topic of this layout is a DIY camera strap I made myself. The camera sticker from Dear Lizzy was a perfect embellishment for this layout.

Today is the reveal day of Scrapbook Werkstatt's November kit. It's perfect for documenting all the autumn memories but the kit has a lot of other pretty stuff as well. See the kit from here and get your own!

For this layout I wanted to use the tags I cut out from Pink Paislee's pattern paper together with washi tape strips. Such a simple and quick way to make a layout!

The future is bright - a layout with two triangles

I really loved My Mind’s Eye’s colorful pattern paper that was included in Paper Camellia's October scrapbook kit. I definitely wanted to use that on one of my layouts. As the pattern is so bold I wanted to balance that with white background.

The design of this layout includes two triangles: One from pattern paper and one from embellishments and picture. Together these create an interesting design.

One of the main embellishments on this layout is a heart I cut from the pattern paper. That paper is so versatile: you can cut so many interesting shapes from it!

Here is a layout I made with Paper Camellia's October main scrapbook kit and embellishment add-on. I really loved My Mind’s Eye’s colorful pattern paper so I definitely wanted to use that on one of my layouts. As the pattern is so bold I wanted to balance that with white background.

To create an interesting background I cut out some diamond shapes from pattern paper. This was inspired by the yellow paper from My Mind’s eye. My other inspiration came from the picture. In the picture my husband is balancing on a slackline and I wanted to add a piece of ribbon to the layout to represent this. To finish off this layout I added few embellishments and black mist splatters together with a black title. I really wanted to use a bit of black on this layout to bring some contrast.

Hello beautiful - a layout with happy colors

I know it's autumn already but I want to use cheerful colors like pinks and yellows. The days are getting so much shorter already so I need some happy colors to brighten my day. Making this layout did just that. I know this is a design I have used before but sometimes it's ok to scraplift yourself :)

Here is another layout I did with Dear Lizzy's Documentary collection that I got from Scrapbook Werkstatt.

This year I have felt a need to take more notes. I have so much going on at work and at home so I need to write things down in order to remember all of it. I have a planner for work stuff and little notebooks for other things. I found the cute little notebook from Stockholm and it's perfect for to-do lists!

This moment - In The Scrap October challenge

The new challenge is now open at "In The Scrap" blog! This time it's about quotes!

My inspiration for this layout was a quote from Elle's Studio's PL card: These moments are the ones I'll treasure the most. In the picture my husband is sliding in the park with our godson. I love that we are so close with our godson and his family and we can be part of his daily activities like going to the park.
