CSI: Make a plan

I just loved the colors of this week's CSI challenge! Purple and turquoise together! A perfect opportunity to use the lovely Dear Lizzy collection :)

I wanted to make a layout about my adventure in this crazy planner hype. I got a gorgeous Kikki K. planner for Christmas and since then I have tried to figure out how to use it the best way. I did some basic decorating to the planner, but I'm not going to go overboard with it. The planner will really be a planner for me, not some artistic diary (but I reserve the right to change my mind about this!).

Pinkfresh Studio: Happy little moments

Here is the fourth and final layout that I created for Pinkfresh Studio as GDT. The inspiration for this layout came when I used that lovely branch die that was included in the March embellishment kit. I wanted to use the small pieces from the cut too as those reminded me of cherry blossoms that we saw in New York.

I love how this layout turned out! Those vellum tags were perfect for layering and that branch die is so pretty!

Pinkfresh Studio: Hello Lovely + video

Sometimes inspiration just hits! That was the case with the square sequins that were included in the Pinkfresh Studio's March embellishment kit. That sequin banner was the starting point to this layout.

My style is clean and simple and I don't use mixed media products that much. When I told my scrappy friends that I made a layout using gel medium they almost didn't believe it. Gladly I have proof: a "making of" video!

Pinkfresh Studio: Welcome spring

Here is another layout that I created for Pinkfresh Studio. All the embellishments in this layout came from their March embellishment kit. I was so inspired by the stamps (eventhough I rarely do any stamping) and those lime green vellum letters. I wanted to create a layout about the spring that is almost here!

 Maybe I need to use stamps more often? :)

Keep life sweet

Did you know that Paper Camellia hosts a sketch challenge every month? I made a layout using this month's sketch. I love working with a sketch. If I feel stuck, a sketch is a great way to get your scrapping mojo back.

Typically, I don’t use all the elements from the sketch. On this layout I wanted to use the combination of a rectangel and a smaller square. The stickers from the embellishment add-on made the journaling super easy and those stickers matched the paper strips from the sketch perfectly.

Hopefully you will join this challenge! It would be nice to see your take on the sketch!

Pinkfresh Studio GDT: Happy days + video

The picture in this layout was taken at my friend's wedding. She is an awesome person with a silly sense of humor. Of course she wanted to have some fun things at her wedding. So yep, it's a dancing crocodile!
