Here is a minibook I made with Pinkfresh Studio's Felicity and Life Noted collections. Both of these collections have a unique look but still they go together so well!
For this minibook I used the 3x4 cards from Life Noted as my base. I added pages to the mini book also by cutting cards from the Life Noted 6x6 paper pad. This mini book is photo heavy so I kept the embellishments to a minimum.

Notebook or minibook?
January 17, 2016
I don't do project life but I sure love 3x4 journaling cards! This time I made this little book from the cards that are part of Fancy Pants Designs' Happy Place Collection. I started it as a mini notebook and I added empty white cards to the mix but now I have started to think that maybe I should transfer this to a minibook as I think it's pretty cute! What do you think?

Home - a minibook with Happy Place collection
January 3, 2016
Happy New Year! I've been enjoying the long weekend and scrapped a lot! Here's a minibook I made with Happy Place collection (Fancy Pants Design) that I got from Scrapbook Werkstatt. I love the bright and happy colors of that collection!
In a previous blog post I have mentioned that we have a busy 6 months coming and soon we will be moving out from our current home. That's a great opportunity to document this home of ours to a minibook!

Notes - little notebook with kit left overs

Today I want to show you a little notebook I made with Paper Camellia’s September Main Scrapbook kit. That gold striped speciality paper from Crate Paper was perfect for making a notebook cover! The paper was sturdy enough to hold all the other papers together.
I decorated the cover with the alpha thickers and a cluster of stickers. I used a bit of extra glue for adhering. This way I can make sure that the embellishments will stay in place.
For the inside pages I used mainly copy paper and some pattern papers from the kit. As the purpose of this book is really to be a notebook I didn’t decorate the inside pages.

Minibook: Discover

It's been a long time since I did a minibook, but now as I have so many pictures from our vacation I decided to shake things up and make something different. For this minibook, I used the Wonder collection from Crate Paper that I got from Scrapbook Werkstatt.
The size of this minibook is quite small: 3x3 inches. This minibook was so easy to make! It took me about an hour to complete the whole book.
Here are some pictures from the inside pages:
Materials:
Crate Paper - Wonder - Ephemera
Crate Paper - Wonder - Enamel Dots & Sequins
Crate Paper - Wonder - Specialty Paper { Gold Glitter Stripe }
Crate Paper - Wonder - Curious

Mini notebook

Summer is the perfect holiday season! It’s the perfect time for small getaways or even longer trips. If you don’t want to take your normal planner or notebook with you for the trips, a little travel themed notebook can be a great solution for you!
I made this mini notebook with the 4x6 Project Life cards from Family Portraits store. I also used some stickers to decorate the notebook. The notebook is small and handy. I can keep it with me and keep track of trip related to-do’s and notes!
Family Portraits: May
June 13, 2015
Another month finished at my Family Portraits album! Here are my pages for May.
Again, I kept the pocket pages really simple. As papers, I used the printables from Cat File Store. I used some wood veneers and stickers as my embellishments. The journaling is printed in vellum, just like last month.

Family Portraits: April

I just realized that I have shared my Family Portraits album here on my blog yet! Life has been a bit hectic lately...
Well anyways, here it is! I just love the Family Portraits concept. Last year I tried to do Project Life (and failed miserably), but I decided to start a new album dedicated only to Family Portraits. It’s a mini album, 4x4 inch instagram album. As the pockets are quite small, I wanted to dedicate those just to photos and pretty papers/embellishments. I came up with the idea to print my stories into vellum and attaching the vellum as a separate page between the pocket pages.

The story of minibook tips and tricks
October 21, 2014
I think I haven't shared minibooks here on my blog before. I think this is the fourth minibook that I have ever made. This minibook was supposed to be published in the Paperilla magazine. This is a graduation minibook. My cousin graduated from high school last spring and me and my husband took these graduation photos of her. I wanted to gather the best photos into a minibook.
This minibook was so easy to make! The pages are paint sample cards that I just sewed together. While making this minibook I tried to think of my best tips and tricks to a person who is making one's first minibook.
I think a minibook is a combination of repetition and variety. For example, in this minibook all the photos are placed similarly and are of same size. This makes the minibook look cohesive. Another repetitive element here is the word sticker on every page. On the other hand, you want to change some elements on the pages so that they don't all look the same. That's why I have changed the placement of the word stickers and other embellishments from page to page.
